We are fed up with instant soups which is why we are constantly looking for healthy soup recipes which we can make fast and with season vegetables. The crave for soups usually starts when the temperature drops outside because we feel the need to eat something comforting. A lot of people do not like the store bought soups which only need heating because they are full of salt which is not good for us in high qualities.



Here are some healthy soup recipes that you can from:


  •  Lightened-up soups: if you want to cut back on the fat you usually introduce in your soups use less of the ingredients that make the soup salty or greasy. If you go online you will a lot of healthy, light soups such as: French onion soup, chicken noodle soup and pea soup.
  • Chunky chicken noodle soup: when you want to get healthy you always eat some chicken soup because it gives you that comfort feeling. Specialists claim that eating soup when you are sick actually helps us because the hot liquid fight inflammation and it hydrates you. Here are the ingredients you need: chicken, poultry seasoning, thyme, celery, egg noodles, carrot, green onions, parsley, chicken-flavored bouillon granules, pepper, and bay leaf.
  • Split pea soup: this soup was actually invented by a well known blogger called Jenna Weber. What is great about this recipe is the fact that you can use leftovers from you fridge and heat them up. To add some protein for those rainy days the blogger adds some boiled eggs. Ingredients: green split peas, vegetable broth, yellow onions, extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, carrots, eggs.
  •  Broccoli, cheddar and potato soup: this recipe was also developed by Jenna Weber. What she did is take the classic cheese and broccoli soup and add some potatoes. She recommends we add low sodium broth and low fat milk and cheese to make this soup lighter. Ingredients: butter, broccoli, russet potato, garlic, cayenne, dry mustard, salt, cheddar cheese, flour, milk, vegetable or chicken broth, bacon.
